Ecclesiastes 3:2 There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot
It's Go Time!!!! Yes, my P.R.E.T.T.Y friends it is time to plant. I know you've been tilling your land by making connections with new prospects and coordinating meet ups with purpose partners. I know you've been executing all the notes you have written down concerning your purpose and destiny. There is a time for everything. Aren't you glad that God has carved out a specific time just for planting? He has been so gracious as to design a specific season just for my gift no matter how great or small it might be. I take absolute joy in knowing that my gifts and talents are needed for the kingdom. In Matthew Henry’s commentary on Ecclesiastes, he points out how some changes are an act of God while some changes depend on the will of man, yet all are divinely determined. Within the first verses this is what we are shown. We do not have control over when we are born or what we are born into. We have no say about what happens to us. But we can keep our hand to the plow, and continue planting seeds, and cultivating the talents He has blessed us with. We can make sure that we are preparing for the harvest. And when this season is over, I will take my leave with gladness knowing I have consistently planted. Believing that He would perform His word by multiplying the very seed He gave me. I pray you are encouraged to continue planting your seed. Now in a most excellent way, be as P.R.E.T.T.Y as you can.
