Gather & Pray

Acts 1:14

These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.

They all came together on one accord for prayer. I don't know about you, but I see that as networking 101. An essential network gathering at that. Your goal should be to find like-minded people who will gather and pray with you and for you. We should all strive to have God be glorified through the efforts of putting our hand to the plow and using our gifts and talents to harvest the field He is calling us to.

Our network gatherings need to be centered around prayer and I believe that we will see iron sharpening iron in our meetings. Attendees will be encouraged and built up in our most holy faith. We will see growth, the exchanging of ideas, and plans being set up to accomplish the job set before us.

Listen, God wants us to gather in His name. This is something that we need to do continuously and as often as we are able to. He wants us to touch and agree. He wants us to put angels to flight. Let's make God the center and our main focus as we network, expecting Him to always show up and not trying to do it all on our own. He works through people, and He wants to work through you and me. We need Him in order to carry out the task. Without prayer and supplication, we stand a great chance of not doing our part for the kingdom.

I'm encouraging you to take some time to locate the people that God would have you gather and pray with. Make God the center and see Him as your source. Make prayer your main activity. Exchange ideas and talk about your vision and plans. Write them down together. Share them at the table. Have a bite to eat and grow.
