Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. v 20 For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them
There are many benefits of networking. It can help you make new business connections, increase your job opportunities, and can even help you to advance your career. These are only a few benefits among many. When we translate networking to our spiritual walk, we see two major benefits for those who are faithful to Christ. First, anything you ask for will be done by your Father in heaven. Second, that God will be in your midst.
Gathering together with no purpose in mind does not lead to successful fruit bearing for God’s kingdom. If you are not sure on which direction Christ is leading you, ask God to give you purpose and direction. Once you have locked in on His purpose for your life, all you need is one more to agree and pray with you. Exercise your faith in that area and believe God to come through on your behalf. Gather and agree on things that are found in the word of God that support His purpose for your life. Then use the gifts and talents that God has put in you to get the job done.
When you come together be sure that your desires are reflected in the word of God. We want to be certain that we are not praying outside of His will. Traditionally, these gatherings were meant for praying over the disciplinary action for a church member who had gone astray, but it also had secondary benefits as an act of worship and Christian fellowship and communion. We know that we have been directed to gather, to do so often, and to ask on behalf of our Father in heaven. Then we are given the ultimate promise that not only will our prayer be answered, but that God will be there with us as we call on His name.
There is nothing better than to have the Lord present and in the midst of your situation. When He is in our midst, it is to strengthen us and revive us. It is to rejuvenate us and to reassure us of who He is and the mission we are tasked with. He shows up to answer our prayers simply because we had faith to gather and agree. Yes, we have the faith to network His way. I'm encouraging you to gather, to pray, and to agree. Watch God be in your midst and answer your prayers. This is networking 101.
Keep it P.R.E.T.T.Y and network God's way.
